COPA

My good friend told about this place since I’ve been back in town and since then I was trying to head to COPA to try it but I’ll always come too early.

Finally came, sat, ate and I can tell you this… it’s delicious and a vibe. I’m a pescatarian so I went with this bowl that you can see in the picture.

It’s black owned, delicious food, along with a full bar and hookah. I had a bowl with shrimp added for the protein and it was the great! It looked exactly like the picture and you rarely get that type of depiction when going places but this was accurate all the way down to the flower 🌸 they had.

Great place for family, dates, solo missions to get drinks or grab some tasty food or even if you wanna chill with a hookah.

Service was decent, vibe inside of the restaurant was great, but I was surprised how small food options did they have, way different than what I saw online and on top of that we ended up waiting 20min just for appetizers and then they brought us separate main dishes. Our server tried to make it up saying that they had big group and that was reason for late food.

This place is OK to hang out and have a drink. I wouldn’t recommend the food. It was not that great of tasting even though it looks nice. The music in the service was decent. The drinks were OK.

Great place! Limited menu (tapas) but we ordered everything to try and loved it all. MacKenzie's service was 5 star! Tacos are a bit spicy, yuca fries with banana ketchup and aoili were DELISH, charcuterie board and Mediterranean board both had great selections and good to order for a group, empanadas were a bit heavy (they are fried though, so not unexpected) and the guac was guac so nothing groundbreaking there but it was still good! Good prices, we ordered drinks and one of everything and our tab was $175.

An experience to say the least!
The seared shrimp on guacamole was AMAZING!
So much flavor in each bite& the drinks were made so balanced.
Wait staff was amazing as well!!!
