In life there are certain "needs" like knowing a good doctor, mechanic or lawyer...well having a "Go To" BBQ Place is one of my great "needs" and Smokin' Joe's fulfills all my needs. Went there for the first time with my son on Saturday and the food is extraordinary! We'll be back often!!

Me and my son split the ribs and the flavor was good. Reminded me of bbq sauce and Carolina sauce from the grocery store. I was expecting something more personalized and original. The ribs were not fall of the bone which I was expecting. A lot of hard chewy pieces. I would go again and try something different.

I literally ordered one of each thing on the menu to feed the family and to have leftovers. We have been wanting to try this barbecue place for a while. I ordered ribs, chicken, and briskets. All of the barbecue Meats have outstanding flavor and were tender and delicious, and have a tomato-based and a mustard-based sauce on them. I also ordered all of the sides. Potato salad had a lot of mayonnaise in it, the collard greens were good but I prefer a little bit more of a kick to them, the baked beans were sort of bland and the macaroni and cheese was a little bit dry. But this was at 4 p.m. on a Sunday, so maybe it was getting towards the end of a day. I also ordered a container of banana pudding and a container of the peach cobbler. The banana pudding was very much on point but the peach cobbler needed a little more sugar. It just didn't seem quite sweet enough. All in all, I would go again. They seem like a very nice family, working together, and everyone was friendly. Next time I would probably order all the meats again but probably skip the sides. Then again, you may go and absolutely love the sides. It's all according to personal tastes and what you prefer. I also think it was a good value for the money. I wish them much success in their future!
