Sushi Rock Grill

My daughter and I visited Sushi Rock grill while vacationing in Treasure Island and it was amazing. It is a little pricey, but it was very good. The sushi was some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten, especially the Godzilla Roll, and their stir fry rice, most definitely, hands down, the best fried rice I have ever had, EVER! Had I known it was so good, I probably would have went when we first arrived in treasure island (and then again before we left). We will definitely be going back when in the area.

Exceptional!!! We have been twice now and it is now our favorite sushi place. The renovation is remarkable. The menu is vast with plenty to chose from - this will not be the place you go and get the same thing over and over, which is usually what I wind up doing. Every item we have had from apps to sushi to curry dishes have all been a whopping 5 stars.

My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night and were able to be seated right away. However, that won’t last for long now that the secret is out of how amazingly tasty and delicious the food is. If you love sushi and Asian cuisine definitely give them a try to find out for yourself. We had the Chicken Satay and Veggie Spring roll as an appetizer, both delicious and a touch of a different flavor making them unique and enjoyable. We also had their house salad which you would think “okay, no big deal?” but even their ginger house dressing did exactly that, dressed it up a notch!! Then onto our sushi rolls, mine - Spicy California, my husband’s - Godzilla, the presentation and flavoring was unlike others that we have ever had! We had been to this location before but it was formerly known as Tokyo Bay Japanese Restaurant & Sushi last time we were in town. While the food was good then, the atmosphere inside was old and dirty, we decided we wouldn’t return. However, once back in town and noticed the new sign, we decided to give them a try. As I mentioned, the food is delicious and WOW!!! did the new owner clean it up?! It is very clean inside and the decor is very updated and beautiful. Our waitress Casey was very good and on top of everything with our order. Also, I would like to mention the hostess was very upbeat, sweet, professional and on top of things! Unfortunately I did not get her name. Best wishes and success to Sushi Rock Grill, we will return again any time we are in town!!!

Restaurant is very tastefully decorated - clean, easy to hear, and classy.

We met owner, Lori, who was delightful, engaging and at every table and bar seat talking/meeting people. Where/When does that happen? Good job!

We couldn't believe how buttoned up they are for a second week soft opening!

Sushi was fresh, tasty, and on point. We ordered 8 - yes 8, don't judge- rolls. Each stood alone and would re-order. Edamame were uniquely fantastic!
