Great place, it still remains faithful to what I would call (being from Florida no less) a cowboy restaurant. The ambiance is like going to a real Roadhouse in the middle of nowhere, the food was amazing and the service although little slow was on point. Get there early is always busy so you might always wait for at least 15 minutes
Great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices especially the early bird daily specials. This time there I had the salmon with a sweet potato. Grilled to perfection. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Oh, I almost forgot, along with your entree, you get a freshly made large salad bowl which the server initially dishes out for you and freshly baked hot rolls with cinnamon butter. Hey, if you walk out of there with a full belly then Cody's has done it's job! One last note, the servers, all of them, seem to go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. Try it, and I'm pretty sure you will be hooked! Remember, weekend evenings are very crowded so plan accordingly. Chow!
I eat here Often at least 10 time a year. Service is good but a little slow at times! The food is usually out on time it's hot and the managers are always there to take care of any issues you may have. Overall a good place to eat!
Cody's is one of my favorite places to go eat steak. Also go there on special occasions. My friend likes to go and throw peanuts shells on the floor. People are always nice there and the food is great. I would recommend everyone get to go at least once or more
Busy evening at The Cody Steakhouse! Unfortunately, too busy. Waitress was very explicit describing the difference between rare, medium and well done. Ordered medium rare. Watched order after order of steaming steaks leave the kitchen heading to expectant customers.
45 minutes later my order arrived. Medium rare and what I was offered had no relationship to each other. No steaming piece of meat was on my plate. Waitress took it back. 10 minutes later a well done un-eatable hunk of charred meat was presented.
Why I’m still sitting here is a mystery!
Amber, my waitress, took ‘it’ back and within a couple of minutes arrived with a much better steak. She apologized for the mistake and adjusted my bill accordingly.
Amber saved the day. Rating went from 2 stars to 3 stars.
