Hellas Restaurant and Bakery

Hellas is a fantastic Greek food establishment in Tarpon Springs. The food is delicious and the portions are large. We tried the passion fruit sangria, flaming cheese, gyro and Greek burger. All were well prepared. We also sampled some desserts from the bakery and wow, they were really good as well. Our server was awesome too and went out of her way to give menu suggestions and ensured we were happy with our meal. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Thanks!

Really good Greek food here. I'd recommend the Hellas Gyro. Probably the most popular dish here but it was very good. There is a bakery next door that also has really good desserts. Get dinner here then go next door to the bakery for dessert. Even the bread they bring as an appetizer was really good, although I was pretty hungry!

I arrived at the sponge docks at 1 PM - hungry. The streets had throngs of people and Hellas Restaurant was packed. I was pleased to find I only had a 20 minute wait. I was dining alone and my waitress, Trish, was very friendly and attentive. She made me feel relaxed and welcome. She checked on me at least twice to make sure I had everything I needed and was enjoying my food. The cheeseburger I had was delicious (I'll try Greek food next time, promise). As I sat happily munching away, I noticed that the other wait staff around me was just as competent and professional as Trish. I will definitely stop here again!
