A nice little, non chain restaurant in the less touristy part of Tarpon Springs.
I ordered the pan seared wild caught Salmon, which comes served on blue cheese mashed potatoes with spinach, mushrooms, and roasted corn sprinkled on top. The salmon itself was fresh & cooked just right. A tasty dish when all flavors are combined.
Based on a visit to the bathroom, this place has been in business for a while. That's based on the condition of the bathroom and the 9 year old copy of a St. Pete times review that's displayed within. It was a good review, but after 9+ years, how relevant is it? Regardless, I'm prettu sure the review would still be good & I'll likely visit again if I'm in the area.
Another great dining experience in Tarpon Springs. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The food is always top notch. I've never had a bad meal at Currents. I recommend all of their seafood dishes, especially the salmon.
Food was great. Our whole family loves that street. They have great food. The restaurant give you a personal touch.
We had a very Romantic Valentine's Dinner ????The menu and service was Outstanding???? The Chateaubriand was Top Quality! The flourless Chocolate Cake is Absolutely over the Top! Yes Over the Top???? Would highly recommend this restaurant ????
Unfortunately, tonight's experience was not what I've come to expect from this restaurant. We were asked to move our reservation 30 minutes ahead to accommodate a large Gathering. We did so, and yet still had to wait 20 minutes before we even received our drinks. Several guests had come after us and had been seated and their meals delivered before we had received our appetizer. It was 8:30, an hour and a half after being seated, when we receivd our dinner. One meal was warm and not the portion size that had been expected. Our waiter was quite busy, which meant that we had to ask several times for water and bread. While probably not his fault, it was a very disappointing experience. We will go back to currents but it would have been nice had a manager come by our table, had more attention from our waiter, who was probably too busy with the tables he was given, and to be accommodated for having to wait an hour and 45 minutes for a dinner meal. As a customer, I did not feel valued.
