Taste Of Japan Tarpon Springs

Very nice local place. Friendly staff and accommodating. Decorations and music reflect on type of restaurant which is Japanese. Food was fresh, shrimp excellent and steak tender and tasty. Salad was slightly soggy but everything else very good. Look forward to next visit.

This was my second visit. I was happy the first time but even more satisfied with my visit yesterday evening. Seems they are upgrading the interior. It was a very peaceful environment with lovely calm music playing. We decided to go all out and order the LOVE BOAT for 3. Presentation was beautiful and they had appropriate rice to fish ratio which is very important. Owner is very sweet and personable. We will be back!

This place was such a pleasant surprise. It is housed in the former Mama Maria's Greek restaurant and they have decorated it so beautifully, Japanese style. I took a group for a birthday celebration and on the day TOJ was short-staffed, they were still top-notch! One of the owners/managers visited our table & was so pleasant. Our server said she was new, but you wouldn't know it. She was so friendly, thorough, and attentive. The sushi, appetizers, and full meals were all delicious with gorgeous presentations. I can't wait to visit again. What a gem!

My first time here after reading all the great reviews and I was not disappointed. My lunch was fresh and delicious and the portion was generous! Owner came by to see if we enjoyed our food. Our server was attentive and the place was clean and cute! So glad this opened 5 minutes from my home! Can't wait to go back!

After reading the reviews, we just had to experience for ourselves. We were NOT disappointed. Our server Melissa was awesome, had she not told us, we never would have known it was only her third day on the job. Our food was delicious and portions are HUGE. You definitely get what you pay for here. We had Sushi-delicious and Hibachi Combo-yum-yum sauce is a little sweet but Yummy nonetheless. Cocktail special was a cranberry infusion Vodka martini-so good I had to have two. The owner is so sweet and very welcoming, customer service focused for sure. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will be back!!
