Food is absolutely terrific. A little dated in the decor. Most patrons are older retired folks so I'm sure they'd have a lot more reviews if they had a crowd that actually knew how to review, ha ha. I go there often

The homemade soups are off the chain. Paula is the best server. They do have a small salad bar that's pretty good too.

Went there for lunch-They had ayce pizza and salad bar with soup for $6.99. Pizza was great- salad bar not so good- need more variety and soup was bland. Service not good at all-had to ask for lemon for my tea 3 times before I got some. Our server Stacey spends way too much time talking about personal issues with customers than serving. I asked for a to go cup for my tea and never got it. She put the check on our table and I went to the bathroom she was conversation with a customer near our table when I came out she was still at the same table talking and we sat there a good 5 to 10 minutes waiting before we got up to check out and she was still at the same table talking. Another waitress rang our check and as we were walking out Stacey came to the door to say bye and have a nice day. The atmosphere was friendly and it was clean. The service could use A LOT of improvement. Not a place I would put on my list to visit anytime soon.

Had been hearing about this place and finally was able to experience it. GREAT SERVICE!! Great food!! A bit “rustic” but that just added to the charm of it all. I literally felt like I was sharing dinner with old friends in someones grandmothers kitchen! Serving are substantial and the New England Clam Chowder was divine!! Thick, RICH and creamy with clam i. Every bite, I kid you not! We shared the White spinach pizza and we both thought it was wonderful. Great crust, and SO filling. We ordered the large and after eating the soup, we were barely able to eat 3 pieces between us. Friday 6:30 pm it was busy but we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Highly recommend “R Place!”
