    This is a fairly average restaurant, hard to notice unless you know it is there. The food is hit or miss - the dining experience seems to be based more on a notion of being present and a grudging duty to provide food than actual flavor consideration. Basically this restaurant treats you like a visiting relative at the tail end of the holidays, where Christmas is over and they feel some responsibility to feed you before you leave for home.

    We just had a very pleasant lunch experience at Mama D’s. My 1/2 Cuban sandwich was hot, grilled and tasty. John had breakfast with close to perfect pancakes. The service was friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. It’s off our beaten path or we’d certainly go back.
