Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi

The ramen was filled with so much flavor! The sushi was fresh and delicious. We loved the decor - especially the aquarium bar. The lychee martini was yummy too!

Went here on an employee recommendation (Spencer) arrived on a Friday evening about 6pm with another couple no problem getting a table. Waitress was very very good. I cant believe I forgot her name. Tried several things and enjoyed it all. We noticed as we were leaving the place was getting very busy. I would definitely eat here again.

We've been here twice now. The first time was shortly after they opened and we were able to score seats directly in front of the hibachi. It is set up differently than most hibachi places so it's not what I expected, but was every bit as enjoyable. The hibachi chef was very entertaining and even shaped our food in the shape of a heart since it was date night (photo attached). The second time we went is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The food was still good but the service at the bar was very slow. We sat there 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. The couple next to us had to tell the bartender that we were waiting when they paid their check and only then did they get to us. Once our order arrived, it took us another 10 minutes to get their attention so we could get napkins, chopsticks and utensils. Everyone was friendly but it seemed like they were short staffed. We will definitely return but hope they get their service dialed in by then.

Loved it. Only complaint was it took awhile to be noticed and there was a slight mix up with our order, but it was corrected right away and the service was great. Great food. Fun atmosphere. Good location.

The environment here is pretty great. This was our first time visiting. Sushi was delicious but what stood out was the service. They were super attentive to us and when a small part of our order was incorrect they remade the whole thing from scratch. Management and staff simply wanted to provide the best experience possible and they did. We are absolutely going back and may have found our new home for sushi in Lakeland.
