First Watch - South Lakeland

5 stars! The dining experience here from start to finish was great. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who held the door for us. We were seated promptly, at a convenient table (had a disabled person in our party) without having to ask. The server took our drink orders quickly, the food was very tasty, delivered to our table quickly. And the staff at check out were kind and courteous, again holding the door for us as we exited. The restaurant is decorated in a rustic farm style. There is a gorgeous picture of a swan painted on the wall, bringing in the unique characteristic and essence of Lakeland.

First time visiting, will definitely be back! Food was delicious, staff was great! The one lady manager with curly hair was busting her butt helping her staff get food made and out to the guest. She even came around to check on each table.

I so want to give First Watch a rating that reflects five out of five stars, but the service was a bit off the last time I was there, as well as the time before that. Set the service issue aside for a moment and consider the menu selection.... It is full of terrific options to eat, whether it be for breakfast or lunch. And it all seems like the choice lean towards the healthier end of the food s po spectrum. When I come to this restaurant I make it a point to try something new, and I have to say that the food here has never disappointed; everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. Of all the places outside of my home where I can sit down and enjoy an unhurried meal on a given morning, this is the place to be.
