Visited the Lakeland Ford's Garage while on vacation, loved it! The food was excellent and we had a wide variety. From burgers and fries, onion rings, chicken dinner, salads and desserts! All quality ingredients, prepared exactly as we requested. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, the fries hot and crispy. The chicken dinner was a breast topped with goat cheese w/ tomato & basil and served w/cheesy mashed potatoes and fresh crisp green beans. The salad was fresh, chuck full of fruit and nuts and delicious topped with a berry vinaigrette. Definitely a great time for the guys as the decor is automotive themed. When the napkins are oil rags and your onion rings come served on a funnel, you know ir will be fun. Be sure to visit the rest rooms! Hope this restaurant chain makes its way north, my family would frequent it!
Great Burger, service was slow but they were slammed. Restaurant was completely packed so I can understand why things were taking so long. With the exception of our Nacho's coming out cold, everything tasted great and was cooked perfect. Would like to come back on a day when we can see them at their best. Still think it's a gun place to stop for a great Burger and cold Brew.
Very unique and fun place. We had a group of 12 and sat under one of the old cars. The service was great and the food was delicious! I had Mama Ford's meatloaf. Others had the fish and chips or the chicken fingers. Everyone was happy with their selection. The bathrooms were unique. Be sure to check them out. Buy yourself a cool T-shirt on the way out.
First time visitor. Was impressed with the entire set up. Even going to the restroom was an experience (cut out oil barrels for urinals and tires for sinks). The automotive theme ran deep. Shop rags for napkins wrapped around the silverware (held in place with a hose clamp) to onion rings served on an inverted oil funnel. The menu was held in soft leather. The wait staff all dressed as mechanics. Enjoyed the entire experience except the price. Burgers started at $12 but were excellent. Food was very good but at a premium price. I will definitely be back.
First class burgers! Fun atmosphere. We were there this time at around 2PM - no waiting - relaxing - lots of attention from the wait staff- perfect! Happy hour specials for a bonus! I ordered broccoli as a substitute for frys that was spectacular. Most of us ordered an alternative side dish, they have so many.
