Dwayne's Place

My 70 plus year old parents took me here and I admit I was skeptical because many independent restaurants in this area are poorly run. What a surprise. Fantastic staff, great food and a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for a gold standard example of a small business. I'm a fan.

Dwayne's Place is our Friday morning women's breakfast place. The service is great as is the food. Most of us get one of the $6.00 specials, which includes our coffee. We usually stay for an hour and a half and have never been rushed or made to feel like we were talking up space. The wait staff is attentive from start to finish. Love coming here!

I love Dwayne's Place. It is a not so small "family" feel atmosphere. Service has always been excellent. Food...well there is something for everyone!

Great Food and the prices were also excellent. We enjoyed our food which was seasoned perfectly. The staff members were friendly and checked to make sure that we were satisfied with our meal. We will definitely return.

I have been to Dwayne's Place many times in the past 2 years I have lived in Polk County. Almost everything is cooked to perfection. Very fast and friendly crew as well. The reason its 4 stars instead of 5 is this. I have tried nearly every item on the menu, more then once to include the steaks they offer. The steaks need much help. They are very dry and ALWAYS over cooked with no flavor. A good steak never requires A1 sauce. I say this to not be mean but because I also am in customer service. The customers giving me constructive criticism feedback is what makes us better as a company. I would gladly offer my steak skills if needed.
