Hibachi Express Lakeland

The portions were huge and delicious. Miso soup was great, and the cashier didn't realize my shirt was closer to 20yrs old. She was very friendly and like I said the food was great and college budget friendly.

Lots of food at a reasonable price! Love the sauce that they use on the vegetables. It's very casual but nice and clean.

Good food, decent prices. Service was a little slower than I thought it would be but they are making every order from scratch one at a time. The food came out just as if I had sat at one of the make in front of you hibachi's.

Con: Time to get your food is not fast food time but the wait is worth it, just don't be in a hurry when you go. They charge extra for the sauces other than the one little cup they give you, it's 25 cents, but they are very small cups.

My wife and I went to Hibachi Express for dinner on Valentine's Day. We found the food to be better than adequate. In fact, it was delicious we found the chicken to be tasty and the steak was tender and the rice was fluffy. We even took food home and had it the next night. We gave Hibachi Express four stars. If they offer dessert, we would have given them five. They also did not have any brewed tea, which was surprising. On the whole it was a good night.

Good, somewhat quick Japanese food. You order and pay at the counter and they bring it to you. Plenty of indoor seating. You can't beat the lunch special. Steak, chicken, or shrimp, fried rice, yum sauce, and a drink for $7.95. The food is very fresh tasting and is not fried. The staff is nice as well.
