Amazing food, fast, friendly, and very clean place. Welcoming all nationalities, but if you are Boricua you will love the ambience, food and the home feel!!

Tried this place out for the first time a few days ago, the waitress was great (wish i got her name), the food for me was just a bit salty ☹ but presentation was good & the dessert was amazing. Also, I paid $12 for a soup, salad, steak with rice & gandules and dessert & a bottle of water. Not bad.

I can only speak and read English, and unfortunately the only thing i ordered that i know what it's called is empanadas. We got the chicken ones. They were unbelievable, and very hot.

The server helped to explain what the different types of food were, what they considered of and what different options there were. She was very patient, and did this with a smile.

My main dish had pulled pork topped with some very sweet onion slices, served in a bowl made of two kinds of plantain and yucca. This was my first time having Puerto Rican food, and everything I ate was amazing.

My girlfriend had a bowl of rice with Alfredo shrimp and a small side salad. She loved it.

Afterwards we ordered guava flan (not pictured), and it was the most delicious flan either of us had ever had. Don't order it unless you're ready for all other flan to become disappointing in comparison. It's that amazing.

The server was very quick and attentive, but didn't offer more beverages when ours were gone. Not a big deal, if we couldn't live without them we would have asked. She was very kind, but i didn't see any name tag or hear it given.

When we left the sun had gone completely down, and although there are lights installed outside they weren't turned on. I don't know if that's an everyday thing, but it was very dark. Worth a mention, be careful walking out.

The atmosphere was very fun. Puerto Rican Christmas music played in the speakers. There are Merry Christmas signs hanging on the walls. A Christmas tree with Goya bean cans as ornaments. Hundreds of Puerto Rican flags, and cool straw hats everywhere. It does a good job of putting you in a festive mood for the whole family, there were several children there having a great time as well.

Overall i give this little authentic Puerto Rican Christmas restaurant a 5/5. I'm glad it was my first Puerto Rican food, everything was perfect.
