We really enjoyed our visit to this place. The staff that took care of the food and the staff that took care of the axe throwing were all very pleasant, very helpful, and added to the enjoyment. The food was prepared very quickly, and it was all delicious. A couple of us tried the axe throwing, and after we got the hang of it, we had a really good time. I won - which made it even better! I definitely recommend a visit.
Just went to Ax-Caliber for a birthday party. It was all of our first time throwing axes and we all couldn’t have had more fun! Josh was an amazing instructor and taught us a bunch of fun game as after we got the hang of it. The food was really good, so if you just want to come for food and watch others throw, you can do that too!!!
This place was really fun. I was a bit skeptical at first that it would be. I went with a small group of 5 people during the afternoon, so not that busy. Just filled out the waver by scanning a QR code, can easily be done on your phone. They assign someone to each group to go over the rules, and kind of make sure no one is going crazy. You can get a few beers, throw some axes, doesn't get any better than that. They serve food as well, so another plus. I recommend!
The atmosphere was beautiful. It was awesome inside. Staff was friendly. We ordered the Waffle Plus $5.95 (waffle only) and Chicken & Waffles $8.95. I did not like the chicken. It tasted like frozen chicken that should of been cooked longer. Breakfast portion size was disappointing. The latte had a cute personal touch of a flower, but did not taste like a S'more latte. We tried to calling a few times to place the breakfast order for pick up at 8am, no one answered the phone.
What an awesome place! We had a group of 6 that wanted to learn how to throw axes. We had great instructors who were knowledgeable and fun. We had a blast! Great food. I also love that it’s a place where you can chill and have a coffee. Also cool that they have pool tables and board games. Joyce and Kraig the owners were amazing and made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be returning.
