Azteca D'oro Lakeland

Our server Abigail was great and very efficient, explained the menu in detail. Our drinks were huge and arrived quickly as expected. The Mariachi played on request for us and were very friendly, even did the loony tunes for a small child seated at an adjacent table. The food came at the same time that the table side guacamole was prepared. We don't like prepackaged guacamole. All in all it was a very satisfying evening.

We were seated quickly around 5pm and waited on almost immediately. Our dinners were great tasting and adequate in quantity. Our waiter got me a milder salsa and extra lemon for my water. I was offered iced tea to take home. Noise level good for conversation. Much friendlier and flexible than Tapatios. And live music was started in the bar as we were leaving. Welcome to south Lakeland!

Our first time here. Got there late afternoon, 6 girls standing at the front desk one of them was working and the other 5 were standing there talking. There were more empty tables than full tables. Still had to wait nearly 20 minutes to be taken to a table. The whole time waiting the 5 girls talking were still there.
Waiter came to the table promptly, took our drink order and brought them immediately. He took our order, another person brought us chips and salsa. Chips were good, salsa was homemade. We both ordered the combo plates and when they came out I have never seen so much food on one plate. Food was very good, hot and fresh. Could've used a little more spices for our taste but overall a good Mexican style dinner.
We will return!

Extremely good food and exceptional service.the food was perfectly seasoned and came quickly. The environment is absolutely gorgeous. The bright colors and amazing paintings really enhance the experience. Manager came to our table and was so sweet and welcoming. Our waitress Imelda was so sweet and very helpful. Overall an enjoyable experience.
