Shells Seafood Restaurant - Lakeland

Definitely coming back! Brandon was a great server!! Our food was super yummy. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because there was shell debris in my crab cake dinner. Boo! Other than that, there was a line at the door when they open for a reason! Ck them out!!

Fantastic seafood restaurant. Food was outstanding as was the service! Very busy and had to wait a little while but it was well worth the wait! I had the crab cakes which were the best I have had in a long time. Our friends had clam chowder which I tried. I loved it! We ordered shrimp cocktail. The kitchen manager person came out to explain he didnt like the way they were cooked (overcooked) and had them make another batch. The shrimp were excellent and we really appreciated his coming to the table to explain why it was taking longer. They really care about their customers.

My wife and I have eaten at Shell's, off and on, for many years when we were near one. Tonight we went to the newly opened Lakeland restaurant and were just as pleased as we have been for years. The portions were nice, the seafood was fresh, the flavors were spot on, and the service was great. It was great that they were able to accommodate a request I had with my standard favorite, the Seafood Pasta. Years ago, they offered it with Blackened seasoning as an option. I noticed on their menu that they offered some menu items Blackened so I asked and they made it like they used to and it was just as good as I remembered it being.
It is our new, Local, go to Seafood restaurant.

We were very excited to try out the new Lakeland Shells restaurant. Decided to visit Sunday early evening and met with our family members for dinner. Glad to see the restaurant packed!! Even with the crowds we were greeted warmly at the door and were seated quite quickly. Our server was friendly and EXTREMELY efficient.........no cup was left empty and no empty plate stayed long on our table......she even brought a wet cloth to our daughter to apply her Shells tattoo!!! All of us were very very pleased with the quality and taste of our dinners. We will for certain visit again....and soon!

I'm so glad to have a Shells in Lakeland! The service is excellent. Everyone was very friendly and the server was very attentive. I ordered the seafood dip as an app and it is addictive and full of seafood. The seafood pasta had the perfect amount of cream sauce which I enjoyed dipping my buttery garlic bread into. It was also filled with fresh shrimp scallops clams and mussels. I cant wait to bring my family back with me next time! ????
