Good for quick breakfast or lunch, Only two four chair tables, but I'm sure this will change. Passed on the coffee because they only have American coffee. food was great. Not exactly table service, you order and pay at the counter, before being served. A third worker would take orders and facilitate service. I hope they grow!
Food is wonderful! No modern organics here, just real cooking! I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious and the others are so accommodating and helpful. It's located centrally for easy access from anywhere in the central Lakeland area. Definitely recommend!
Tried this place out after hearing that they had the best Philly Cheese steak around. It was pretty good, but I think I may have built it up in my head too much. The place is small. We were the only ones there when we arrived, and it took a while for the food to come out. The Philly was pretty good. The "tenders and toast" was also pretty good--chicken tenders on french toast with a spicy maple syrup. Overall, it was good. We will probably be back to try other things on the menu.
So I pass this cafe every morning. Finally decided to stop by and boy do I love the food here. Great atmosphere down to earth people makes you feel part of the family. I will definitely by coming more often now.
Great breakfast! I got the French toast with eggs, hash brown, and sausage patty. This French toast is the best I've had in Lakeland. It was just the right amount of vanilla and fluffiness. The hash brown was nice and crispy, unlike some places that serve you a soggy, oily version. The sausage patty was pretty standard, but the eggs were perfectly cooked. It's nice to have a place that knows how to do a proper over-medium egg.
I'm only giving 4 stars because the coffee tasted a little watered down and the ambience is a bit drab... But don't let that deter you. The food was quite good. I look forward to trying some stuff off their lunch menu (BTW they serve both lunch and breakfast all day).
