The Yard On Mass

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited to hear about it when it was announced and even more excited when it opened. The first visit (shortly after they opened) was the only time out of our 4 visits where there was more than 1 food truck. One day I drove by around 1PM and there wasn't one at all so I didn't even stop. Drinks are expensive. The staff is super friendly (this got them 3 stars instead of 2). I would have to chalk this up to being a great concept but poorly executed. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out and I can change this to 5-stars some day. Photos are from first visit.

Stopped by for the first time with the family after a game. They had live music and two food trucks. Drinks are available in the building and are also served outside in the yard. It is family friendly and there is plenty of room for kids to run around and play apart from where the grown ups are sitting, listening to music, and having a drink. Tip: the food trucks were closing up at 9 the night we were there, so if you want food be sure to get there a little earlier. Fun place - check it out.

New casual spot for food and drinks that is family friendly. There is an indoor space with a bar and tables, and a large yard outside with additional seating. They often have live music outside, and usually have 1-3 food trucks any given day/evening. There are a number of years games outside, including Cornhole, and you can get bags from one of the servers or the bar. Overall a fun place to hang out. Their margaritas are among the best I've ever had.

I had a really nice time when I visited the Yard on Mass. There were two food truck options at the time I was there and another truck showed up as I was leaving. I don’t drink and they had fountain sodas which I appreciate (sometimes craft breweries have a limited of non-alcoholic beverages). The staff were very friendly. The weather was amazing so we sat outside with our meal. The grass area was clean and tidy and had plenty of seating options. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual atmosphere with happy people.

Very laid back and a nice atmosphere. I liked the concept of waitresses to come outside to get our orders instead of us going inside to order beer. They have a nice selection of different varieties on beer. Also, there were 3 different food trucks on site so many food choices to pick from. Very kid and pet friendly!!!
