Flightline Cafe At Winter Haven Airport

Great restaurant and amazing food! Also beautiful views of aircraft and a beautiful inside. 10/10 would recommend.

I have eaten at Flightline two times and have completely enjoyed the food. The sweet potato fries are so delicious. The are cut like steak fries and topped with brown sugar. The fried tomatoes (I think they were yellow tomatoes) were topped with feta cheese and bacon and were delicious. The portions are generous. I had leftovers and the tomatoes were as good cold as they were warm. I also had the cheesecake and it was very much to my liking and I don't usually favor cheesecake.
I went back to Flightline the other day and ordered the Firecracker Shrimp (not sure if that is the correct name) and the Caesar salad, both were delicious but I would not order them together next time. The shrimp were spicy and took away from my enjoyment of the salad taste. I do have to say that the shrimp were really good. I would definitely order them again, with a beer this time.

I came to this cafe for an event a little before sunset. The food was amazing and the staff were so wonderful. I didn’t even know there was a cafe you could eat and watch planes take off into the sky! It was so exciting!!

This place is great! The food was great and the service was excellent. Probably the best service we've ever encountered. Not to mention the view. You're able to watch the planes take off while enjoying your meal. The waitress made everything better with her great attitude and energy. We highly recommend it!

What a unique experience right by the landing strip at the airport. Inside is an industrial atmosphere but maintains coziness. Everything I had on the menu was delicious and made from scratch. The owner recommended green fried tomatoes, which was amazing. I enjoyed the sweetest White Russian I’ve ever had. He also told us about a deal for $150 for a 20 min airplane ride and dinner for 2. I’ll be back here again to try their famous chicken and waffles. Reasonable breakfast pricing. Don’t miss it when using navigation to get here, it doesn’t look like a restaurant.
