True Grits

A very pleasant surprise with great food and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be coming here again to sample more of the tasty dishes offered. I'm looking forward to trying a homemade dessert.

A quaint little joint, easy on the wallet and big on customer service. I liked that my coffee cup never reached half empty before any server walking by would offer a refill. Not noisy, family friendly. Table, comfy booth, and breakfast bar seating options. An enjoyable experience. Will return.

I first heard of this new place today and I tried it for dinner. What a great place!! Very clean. A great menu. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Got a really good burger an fries. I will for sure be coming here again. Very good prices too. Wait staff was also excellent!! Friendy an willing to make your visit a true pleasure. ????????????????

It was our first visit, sure won't be the last. We had a little of a lot to try the menu. Biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy, bacon. The biscuits were flaky great flavor, not hard or burnt. Eggs actually as ordered perfect, bacon just crisp not overdone, next the pancakes great flavor fluffy, wonderful. Of course you can't come to a place called True Grits without trying the grits, my wife is picky about the grits, having sampled some of the best in Charleston. They were perfect, done enough, not overcooked or lumpy. GREAT JOB! The cook out did their self and the service, best I have had anywhere. Will definitely go again.

First time dining here...very impressed and will definitely return! I’ll be sure to recommend to everyone looking for a good place to eat!
Western omelette was really good. Biscuit with gravy was delicious.
I like the options they have...very reasonable prices (and I’m a cheapskate lol)
Waitress was very attentive!
