Awesome little town bar and grill... anything from Gator to quail. Good stop in Melrose to grab a beer and a bite

Everything was great from the service to the sweet tea. Great food coming out in huge portions at low prices, cant getter any better. Traveled 15 miles out the way thru some very rural areas just to try something new that wasnt a chain or fast food and it was well worth it!

Nice place, not much seating, although there is bar seating. The service was fast and friendly, very enjoyable staff. The locals Rave about it, but to be honest I've only been there once. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. The burger was fabulous, pretty much as good as anything you'll get anywhere, and it's a big thick hunk of very tasty beef in a handmade patty, 1/2 lb., not like the little flat patties at Burger King. The slice of tomato, raw sliced onion and lettuce we're all beautiful and very fresh. The cheddar cheese was to die for. In fact, I wish I had one right now.

Iced tea was fabulous. Fries were very uneven, though, some were pretty good and some were really hard, almost crunchy. I would give the best of the fries about 3/5, but I was there about 2:30 so maybe I just hit a window where the fries on hand weren't so good. These are seasoned fries so be aware of it, very salty but very tasty. The fries were the only thing that kept this from being a 5-star review. Overall, highly recommended.

Me and my wife had a night without kids so we decided to give this place a try. It was OK but far from ideal. Service was fine after taking a while to get a waitress to notice us after we were seated by a hostess. Maybe a miscommunication? Food delivery was slow. Food quality was mediocre. Frankly it looked like a nice place to come if we were drinking but we weren't. We likely will not return. It wasn't bad but money is tight and not worth it to us. Others have good things to say - maybe we just had a bad night but it's not worth it to us to try them again.
