Velchoff's Corner

Perfect way to end a travel day. Staff was helpful and welcoming. There was live music playing on the patio. Food was great 😋. Blue crab chowder and fish and grits were the perfect choices for a cool, windy evening. A very nice surprise!

We had a delicious dinner. They're happy to cook their burgers exactly how you ask them to prepare it. This spot is such a great place to take friends who have never been to the Palatka area. Lovely downtown river front spot and great food!

It was our first time eating here. Very upbeat, friendly, and inviting atmosphere. Everyone that works here asked if we needed anything, spoke to us, and just made it seem like they were glad we were there.
With all of the attention though our appetizers were missed/forgotten. Still it didn't ruin the first time visit. The owner came and sat down with us and apologized. It was an honest mistake so we overlooked it.
They have big plans for this place and I do hope they make it. Palatka needed some kind of alfresco type of dining experience. Now we don't have to go to St Augustine for it.
We will be back.

I have nothing remotely bad to say about this place. The service was good and the food was top notch. Burgers, fries and shrimp were delicious. I look forward to them opening an actual restaurant with indoor seating. It will be the best place to eat in Palatka when they do. They already have the best food.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. The staff are so friendly and want to make sure you visit was perfect. It would have been a 5 star, but the prices are a little on the high side. Give it a try and enjoy the food and friendly staff.
