Mema's Family Restaurant

It was very satisfying. Our food was good very tasty and fresh off the pan. We ordered the country fried steak and it was tender and juicy.

Awesome place to eat, the Country/Family atmosphere is great. Everyone is so upbeat and kind. If you go to Satsuma, you have to put Mema's on your things to do list.

Ordered the sampler to split with the family. The price was a shocker, $15 / $16. There was fried okra, onion rings (roughly half an onion) and the best part of it all.... wait for it.... 2 mozzarella sticks. 2!!! The waitress was every nice and frankly she was the only reason I did not complain. She asked the owner if we could get 2 more cheese sticks and the Owner rudely reprimanded the waitress. I was shocked! I told the waitress to not worry about it, because I did not want her in any trouble. I am a huge support of mom and pops establishments, however this particular owner really did NOT CARE, not about the quality of the food (almost everything is frozen and fried), did NOT CARE, about her staff, speaking to that poor waitress in front of all the customers the way it was done, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the CUSTOMER! I can easily say that this was my first & absolute last time I will never go back. Simple, reason an UNHAPPY OWNER!!! The crazy thing is I recently purchase a home up there and this is the closest restaurant to my house, and not even if this was the only place to eat in the entire area and I did not know how to cook. I would still not go! THE REASON I GAVE IT 3 STARS WAS BECAUSE OF THE WAITRESS. The establishment got 1Star and the waitress got 2! ????????????

Old Florida Country Cooking restaurant. It's not fancy, but the food is good. The locals love this place. Only 2 1/2 miles south of Georgia Boys Fish Camp. We always recommend Mema's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great prices.

First time eating here and the food was great! I had the fried porkchops, greens, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. The chops were huge! Definitely reminded me of my grandmas cooking. Everything tasted fresh, not overly seasoned, and the chops were straight out of the fryer. The prices were very reasonable. I loved how cozy the place was. Definitely will be back.
