I have had multiple burritos from here and every time it surprises me how much flavor is in them. I absolutely LOVE this place. Great service and even better food. My kids love their chicken quesadillas and pineapple sodas!
My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch yesterday and we were really looking forward to some authentic Mexican food. I had the 3 birria tacos and a pork tamale and my boyfriend ordered the steak quesadilla. The service was quick considering everything is cooked to order and the man who took our order was polite and helpful. However, the food was a letdown and the picnic table we sat at had leftover dried food on it. It was a windy day and the umbrellas on the tables were wobbly and not secured properly.
The presentation of the food was lovely and visually appetizing but there was a severe lack of flavor. The pork tamale was small and had very little seasoning. The tacos were a bit oily and all I could taste was the onion and cilantro, not because there were too many toppings but because the meat was bland. There was a green sauce that came with the quesadilla my boyfriend ordered and it tasted sweet but had no flavor other than sugar. I will say that the chicken consommé that came with the birria tacos was delicious. Definitely the best part of my meal.
So good! Just stopped here on a whim and was very impressed. I got the chicken rice bowl on special for $9.99 and it was so. much. food. The service was quick and friendly-- they even checked in with me after eating to see what I thought about it. The outside seating area was nice and the truck looks well maintained.
Been dying to try this place and OMGNESS what I have been missing. Today, I tried the spicy pork Taco and the tamales. The pork was not too spicy and plenty of meat. The right amount of spicy. The corn tortilla was lightly fried to make it Xtra yummy. The tamales were FAT AND FULL OF MEAT AND FLAVOR, HORRAY!!! My new local GO TO Can't wait to go back and try more.
NOTE: They are closed Monday and Tuesday. Something I didn't know.
Update: 07/05/23 went back and tried the chicken tacos w cheese, steak tacos, Mexican sausage Taco (Chorizo) which is homemade, spicy pork taco and of course my Favorite tamale, and once again the food was out of this world authentic, delicious and tacos were full of meat! Never disappointed. You are missing out on some GREAT FOOD if you don't stop by!
My family and I ate there this evening. We tried most of the tacos on the food truck. The spicy porks, shrimp and chicken were our favorites. The sauces were awesome. One was a delicious green sauce that was mild, the other was a spicy pineapple that was sweet and spicy. The owner was very nice. If you haven't tried this place, give it a try. You won't be disappointed!..,. Next time, I'll take pics before I eat all my tacos!
Update... Another visit, our second. We got spicy pork and shrimp tacos and some tamales, this time. All was good. I think the sauce with the tamales was a mole. I actually took pics this time! Go check him out!
