Texas Best Barbecue

This was our second visit to Texas Best Barbecue and definitely won't be our last! As a displaced Texan, I'm always looking for good brisket and this place lives up to the name! I had a sliced brisket sandwich and my wife a pulled pork sandwich and we both were delighted with our choices! My brisket sandwich was served on the perfect bun and the brisket was delicious...tender, juicy and flavorful. My wife's sandwich came on the same bun and the pork was some of the best she's had! We even ordered some to take home with us for dinner! The only down side, if you want to call it a down side, is they only take cash. Not to worry though, there's an ATM next door! If you're looking for some authentic Texas BBQ, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

This place is fantastic. It's my favorite restaurant in Englewood and I'm quite frankly surprised that there isn't a line out the door everyday. The brisket and pulled pork are both great and they provide excellent portion sizes. My family also really liked the Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, and beans. Finally, the homemade cornbread is a must!

They have some of the best barbecue on the west coast of Florida. Family owned and operated, always friendly and happy to see you. Love their rib roast Po Boy

Absolutely awesome! The brisket is excellent and the service is just as good! You have never tasted a baked potato as good as you will get here and the portions are generous! Plus the bbq sauce is homemade and is delicious! No matter how far you need to go out of your way to get here you need to do it!!! Excellent!

Best bbq in town! I went with a party of 6 so we tried out most of the menu and everything was amazing. Would highly recommend any of their potatoes, they were perfectly cooked and the brisket was great. And don’t worry about leaving hungry, the portion sizes are huge! Even the pulled chicken, which at other restaurants is typically dry, was cooked perfectly! And to top it off the sauce they make in house pulls everything together. The staff was beyond friendly and the owner was one hell of a sales man in the most endearing way!
