Totally amazing. So glad Chaz 51 popped up when my daughter was searching for steakhouses in Venice. The service and the food were beyond compare. We used to live in New York and this is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. it's in the middle of nowhere on Knights Trail, but worth the trip there. Actually, it's less than 5 minutes off the interstate, just well hidden. We will be back, soon and often!

Excellent service & very nice selection to choose from. Had the Kobe Blue Cheese Burger which was cooked exactly as I requested and delicious. Looking forward to going back to try the Shrimp and Grits.

This will be a regular eating spot now that we discovered this hidden gem. Chef was friendly and fun to talk to. We went early on a rainy day and had the place to ourselves for abit so were able to converse with everyone there. knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ceasar Salad is one of the best I have ever had. I can't wait to hit this place for lunch one day soon.

We had a delightful surprise dining at this restaurant on Father's Day 2019. Although the website says, "Closed on Sundays", it was apparently open on special occasions. Call to confirm. The decor was understated, if not simple; but clean and pleasant. The service was fast and courteous. Most importantly, the food was culinarily superb. From the mixed tossed salad with almond slivers and small chunks of flavorful blue cheese that is not overpowering, the tender sizzling steak that is aged and grilled to perfection, to the generous portion of shrimp and lightly crusty grits over a bed of spinach and cheese, everything was done to perfection--this coming from diners who are not easily impressed. It turns out Chef Chaz started cooking for THE Ruth of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for 25 years! No wonder the cuisine was so fantastic. The generous portions meant plenty of leftovers to enjoy again. This restaurant is a Sarasota gem! We will be back for sure.
