Bentley's Boutique Hotel, BW Premier Collection

First off, the outside of the hotel was very nice and updated. When walking in the lobby, my husband and I thought it was very modern and clean. However, the man working at the front desk , I believe his name was Jared, said “hello” to us then continued to do his work for about 5 minutes until finally putting it down and asking us “how can I help you”. I admit is was a bit awkward and we usually never have this kind of experience in the hospitality industry. Had it not been for that experience, we may have given it a higher rating. Please work on these important skills, as it leaves a bad impression on the overall establishment. Other than that, the location was great, very close to siesta key beach and about 24 minutes away from the UTC mall. Room was clean, had a musty smell at first but it went away with some air freshener and the AC on. Breakfast was okay the first couple of days and the last day it was pretty good. Very small dining room so I would suggest going in early or taking a plate back to your room or eating poolside.

The Best hotel that my family and I have ever been to... the hospitality in this hotel is great and the staff ladies are very professional and kind bless their soul!!! thank you ladies for being so helpful throughout my stay... also the rooms are nice and clean and the housekeeping ladies are super sweet and they are excellent!!! Again thank you so much for making my family and I feel welcome we will definitely be back thanks.

Was fabulous for the price. Pool area was the highlight of our trip. Very clean hotel. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 for bathroom. While it was clean and nice looking, there was no clothes line for bathing suits and no tub or removable shower head. This made cleaning off my 4 year old after the pool and beach very difficult.

My husband and I took our kids for a 1 night stay. At check in the young man was not friendly at all. He snapped that check in was at 3. I thought it was 3pm so I looked at my watch and it was 7 minutes before 3. He shrugged and just told us to walk around and come back at 3. So my husband and I sat in the car for 10 min and walked back over to check in which had a line of 10 people all checking in! Luckily we were greeted by a nice lady that was very friendly and checked us in with no issues. The room was very clean, but small which was fine. The drive to the beach was great. We love the area. The next day before we checked out our kids wanted to swim. I thought it was strange that they were told to get out of the pool (it was 10:00am) and a man started to dump 3 containers of chlorine in the pool. Shouldn't this be done on times that the pool is closed? So disappointing.

An excellent hotel with a caring and well trained staff. Bar, pool area, food was excellent and the free breakfast is superb. However, the rooms have only rotating slat-type window blinds with no curtains to draw. The blinds allow a LOT of light in the room even late at night due to the outside street and security lights. This (for us anyway) made sleep difficult and we ended up hanging a blanket to the top window valance. Not having black-out curtains is a major blunder and, although we greatly enjoyed the hotel and its value pricing, we will not stay there again until the above is resolved.
