Apollonia Grill - Landings Sarasota

We went in for lunch and wanted to stay for dinner! Apollonia is our new favorite Sarasota restaurant. The chicken kebabs are tender and marinated in a lemony nectar (if there is such a thing) They had me at warm pita with olive tapenade which is served before the meal.
We shared the salmon and zucchini fritters. Everything was amazing including our attentive waiter. The place is spotless and we enjoyed watching all of the meal prep service in their open kitchen.

You know when you go to a restaurant and you expect it to be good but you don't have any other expectations than that it's always rewarding to feel like its better than good. Our experience felt like visiting family while getting the best service you ever could imagine with food out of this world, and to top it off one of the most unique ways to get your greek coffee served straight out of hot sand. Apollonia is one of my favorite places in South West Florida. If you haven't tried this location yet you should, it feels like visiting the set of Top Chef locally. Kudos to Chef Eddie.

Lovely modern Greek Albanian restaurant with conscientious wait staff, very good food, hot bread before the meal, and very excellent olive oil upon request, in addition to the oil with balsamic and olive spread.
