Breakfast House

Loved this little cottage for breakfast. Seating inside the quaint cottage or outside in the decorated garden area. Friendly accommodating staff. Delicious food.

We visit Sarasota about once a year by far our favorite place for Breakfast, lunch or brunch. Food is wonderful staff is very pleasant. Price is very reasonable. Great setting especially the back yard. Go hungry.

We saw another diner with blueberry pancakes (apparently the STUFFED pancakes) which looked great. So we ordered blueberry pancakes. These were not fluffy as had been advertised more like the toughness of an overcooked fried egg white. Taste was good. Syrup was served cold, which was alright, but not expected given the hype our waitress assigned to the syrup. We were seated, then asked to move as another regular customer might want to sit where we had been seated. Note - no one used that other table during our stay there. The cast metal chairs are stylish, but not especially comfortable, and were cold that morning. As we were leaving, we were encouraged to move along as large party wanted to come in and use a table near where we had been seated the second time. We didn't get that rush, but left. Meh.

Small and cozy Breakfast spot with delicious menu items. I had the Key West omelet (with 8oz of Maine lobster and shrimp combined). If you are a seafood lover, I recommend this dish!

Delicious.comfort food in a cute and quirky setting. We were in Sarasota for 1 week for work and ended up going here twice because it was so good. We each tried the eggs Benedict both times. They were all great. The hollandaise sauce has a little extra lemon to it which is refreshing. Breakfast potatoes and seasoning were delicious as well. Quick and friendly service. Average prices. Would go here all the time if we lived in the area.
