    I felt compelled to come and tell you, Charlie's Hoagies is the ONLY place you need to be getting a cheese steak. Just tried another new "Philly" cheese steak place that was all hyped up, and it was terrible.
    At Charlies; the bread, the cheese, the steak, the fries, their homemade steak sauce....all excellent.
    I won't be going anywhere else again. I'm sorry for cheating on you Charlie.

    Man, I had a meeting down here in Sarasota and during lunch break I wanted anything that wasn't fast food. I got lucky and found Charlie's! As someone from Pennsylvania and very familiar with Philly cheese steak, there's is top notch!

    Awesome food. Great quality. Charlie's has been there since I was a kid. Established in 1986 Hole in the wall awesomeness. Very tasty Philly steaks.

    It's always Great. I've been coming here on a weekly to monthly basis for 5 years and never got a bad sandwich. Ever . Was referred to me half a decade ago by someone from Philly Area . Never went anywhere else for a sandwich while in Sarasota . Not sure why anyone else would unless the dont like great food.

    I had been craving a Philly cheese steak for a few weeks and did not want to travel back up north to find one. I'm so happy that I found this place... The cheese steak was absolutely AMAZING and was so closely made to those back "home". I'll definitely order more from them in the future.
