Limoncello Bistro Sarasota

I have heard from several people that this restaurant is very good. I tried it last night with a friend and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. I couldn’t decide between the egg plant and the lasagna. I went with the eggplant and it was delicious.. Service was excellent. I actually left my credit card there and the next day I went back to get it and was chatting with Angelo I believe who is the owner. He was extremely nice and I noticed how he cares about his customers while I was eating there last night. I even got a lasagna to go since I was already there and that was delicious as well. So if you’re looking to try a new Italian place this is definitely the place to try

Bruce and I were there last night for dinner. As usual it was beyond fabulous. Such a warm, welcoming place and the food is the absolute best there is. Everyone involved with Limoncello is delightful.
And then there is the Chef himself who is a sweet guy who performs magic in the kitchen. Thank you Chuck and Shannon for always making us feel welcome. Jody too, you were great. We will be back soon. ❤️❤️=^..^=

Looks like a hole in the wall in an unimpressive strip of shops but in reality a very nice bistro with amazing cooked to order classic Italian food. Two outside tables and about 40 seats inside. We tried several pasta dishes Including plain, linguine with clams and rigatoni with beef. They were all uniformly excellent. Strongly recommended.

Food was amazing. The service and hospitality was fantastic. If I had a death row last meal it would include that brandy cream sauce. The owner and chef are lively/outgoing folks who really made the evening special.
