Maximillian's Cafe

I have driven by this place a hundred times and finally made the stop. Should've done a while ago. Very good food and very friendly people. I don't know how there are negative reviews on this place. Like the person who was complaining about no online ordering. It's a little cafe tucked away on some side streets. It's not the Cheesecake Factory. But I guess if you live that entitled lifestyle, you complain about stuff like a child. Loved the Cuban pressed sandwich though. Definitely will be back.

This was so delicious! The bread was fluffy and warm (while still being crunchy on the outside), the fillings were perfectly cooked so that the wet veggies (onions, mushrooms, spinach) didn't leak and ruin the whole thing, the light dressing was just what was needed to tie it all together! I'm 100% going back there and it's now one of my favorites!

Super Great place. Food is fresh, original, and awesome. Quiet little hole in the wall. Don't tell anybody else I told you about it OK? It's too busy as it is LOL!! Owners are the nicest people and the staff is great.

One of Sarasota's best-kept local secrets! Very modest lunch spot... your classic mom-and-pop operation... but with amazing sandwiches and wraps. The staff is always very friendly and the pressed Italian and Cuban sandwiches are the best I've found in Sarasota (I like the Italian in particular). Plus, you will be hard pressed to spend more than $10 for lunch. Great spot!

This is by far my favorite sandwich/lunch spot, I have been going to Max's for over 15 years, Never disappointed. Their staff is beyond friendly, and you really can't go wrong with any food option, it's all fantastic! They also have the best brownies to take care of that sweet tooth. I cannot recommend them enough, I would give them 10 stars if it were an option.
