We liked this place very much. Menu and food is very good, old southern Florida fish house fare with a distinct touch of class. Busy, but service is very good. Live music under the Banyan tree in the "back yard" while we waited on a table was very nice.
As a landlubber, I accompany family here and I enjoy the pulled pork sandwich. Kitschy atmosphere, reminds me of Captain Quint’s hideout. Pecan pie is great, too. All that and pretty waitresses what more could I ask for? ????
Man, oh man this food was great! We went for the Lobster and Crab legs but everything on their menu sounded so great I chose seared grouper with butter/caper sauce. He had Fish (Haddock) and Old Bay Fries. The atmosphere is fun and busy-loud; old Key West/Florida beach restaurant style with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was perfect!
My wife and I stopped in for dinner. Since they were on a wait, we went to the bar for drinks and an appetizer. My craft beer was good and she loved the sangria. We had the mini lobster roll- excellent! Within several minutes, we were sat at our table. The service was excellent and the food was better. Her fried platter was superb and my Jambalaya was too notch. We were intrigued by the bourbon pecan pie. I am glad we tried it. The pie was in my top 2 or 3 that I have ever tasted. When in the area and you want seafood with a southern approach, you must stop at Owen's!
eclectic hodgepodge seafood restaurant. live music in the backyard with great seating area. there's a cash bar out there as well as you wait for your table (45 min wait if you call ahead). very helpful waiters and great service. the fish was tasty. $$$
