    I really enjoy coming here for sushi because they have a separate vegan menu that’s pretty long and I just don’t see that often. But, the service always takes forever, the Food doesn’t come out for so long. They have a lunch special that makes it worth it because without the special it’s too pricey for what it is. I also saw a previous review where someone said they added $2 to their tip and last time I dined here the server gave himself a $60 tip. I had it adjusted but that was a little suspicious so beware.

    Tsunami never fails. From fabulous apps to sushi as delicious as it looks, even soups and salads are never mundane here! Thanks to Jeffrey for always making our meals an experience and to Harry for every sincere smile. We are lucky to have Tsunami in our neighborhood ♥️

    The photo says it all! We stopped in for a sushi roll and end up going with the "Godzilla"! It was delicious. A live violinist was playing and the room was busy but pleasant.

    This place is really cute and in a cool hidden spot in downtown Sarasota, the sushi is quality and the service is friendly. I absolutely love the sushi here! I highly recommend this place! The Jasmine tea is also delicious! Great service, too. Yum!

    ***Update: after giving this eatery another go, found that their door does indicate they are closed every day from 2:30-4:30. It looks like the website was updated as well.

    That being said, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Will definitely be back. This restaurant has become one of our favorites.
