Someone recommended I go here specifically for the pie. Everything was delicious. I had the country fried steak and gravy for breakfast. It was cooked perfectly. Also had one of the best biscuits I’ve ever eaten. Finished it off with coconut creme pie. Had to get a box for my pie. You definitely won’t leave here hungry. Older gentleman at the door greeted me and held the door for me, seated quickly, very friendly wait staff, and clean. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area to stop by for breakfast and pie!

Such a refreshing place. The food was so fresh and satisfying. The staff was smiling and so friendly. We went for lunch on a Monday and immediately got seated. The BLT is huge, Patty melt and blackberry pie were all amazing. Great service and great food in a wonderful atmosphere!

We went there second time and the overall experience was good. The serving lady was very nice and friendly. There were way too many people in waiting line but everyone got seated pretty quick. We ordered crab cakes which were decent, not the best we have eaten but not bad. We also got the famous peanut butter pie slice, which was amazing! One thing I wanted to advise people coming here is: considering the serving sizes are pretty generous so if you don't want to take your leftover food with you, please get one side dish only :) It feels so bad that people leave too much food to be wasted :(

I was hoping for comfort food and was disappointed. The special chicken and dumplings was not as expected. The dumplings were like dried out matzo balls floating in a flavorless warm jello-like fluid.
The mashed potatoes with gravy were reminiscent of a high school cafeteria line- thin and bland.
The slice of peanut butter cream pie was the meals' salvation. Yummy. The mint iced tea was refreshing. Homemade apple butter is placed on each table to accompany the sliced bread and butter served.
If you visit during rush hour, be prepared to wait. The server and cashier were pleasant, and I enjoyed the unique atmosphere. There are meal-sized options available.

Best service, very friendly . Food is amazing and home made . The pies are absolutely unbelievable.. so good... I had the butterscotch cream pie.. it was like heaven .. so light and creamy . Oh my goodness... it was big enough for three people but I did not share ...very affordable and you can take whole pies and cakes home with you... this place is awesome .
