British Open Pub

This place is the best! Love the Gaelic rolls (can only get in Michigan so I'm so happy!) And the gorgeous bartender (who also has best personality), Andrea, who is 360x2 - is absolutely the gal your parents want ya to marry! Just saying!

We have been a good half dozen times now. The fish and chips are hand made, the pasties are a bit bland but otherwise perfect, and the bangers & mash are great too.
Thursday is trivia night so that was a fun surprise. We recommend going. We have never taken our kids here, and I've never seen children but there are enough things on the menu for them to be happy!
We typically spend around $30 for 2 entrees and a soda, plus tip of course.
A lovely spot of variety in the Venice restaurant scene.

We went for an afternoon snack. Ordered fried mushrooms and onion ring combo. They were delicious. They came with special dipping sauce. Our waitress was preoccupied with someone in the next isle. It was really slow the time we went so I’m assuming that they were either family or close friends. I didn’t effect our experience. There was anything we needed her for.
They have a train that circles the room on a loop. The train is a nice addition.The British open pub used to be in South Venice however they have now moved down on Venice Avenue and Jacaranda in the shopping center there at the very far end the decoration and the outdoor sitting area was very was done very well definitely an upgrade from South Venice. I would recommend this place.

First visit. We were impressed. The food was off the chain and our server was great. Definitely a 5 star experience. Highly recommended.
