Update: just visited again and they made an effort to make sure our dining experience was above standard. Was given a free appetizer by the sushi chef and the waitress brought a free desert at the end of meal as well. Good turnaround.

In the most delicate of ways; the people that have left high marks for this place are amateur foodies and must be comparing it to their own abilities to make sushi.. If you're a more seasoned sushi patron you will likely be disappointed. Only thing going for this place is its in a busy location without that it would not survive.. You'll be better off going to a choice of other restaurants on the same street.

Tried this place for the first time. Absolutely loved it. They are reasonable prices. Tried a few things for the first time. Comfortable atmosphere.

Our favorite sushi place of all time! We have followed Chef Ho over the years and we are never disappointed. Great food, pleasant atmosphere in beautiful, historic downtown Venice.

Service was good, food was party amazing and partly okay.
The Sushi was good, but not the best I've ever eaten. The Teriyaki was amazing. The starters were too.
Giving it 5 stars because everything was fine and very affordable. There's nothing negative.
Liked the music in the background and the free fried banana as a dessert.

Would come back.

Very yummy specialty rolls. Toro tasted good but was not super fatty. Good service. The seating is limited so plan accordingly if going with a group. But perfect for date night.
