Here we are with the owner and our new French Customers/friends. The food is great and they speak fluently in French. That was great for our customers.

What a spectacular experience! Classical French cuisine at it’s best! The service was friendly and efficient.

The food was simply amazing. The escargot were delicious! The salad was refreshing. The halibut was very moist. The ratatouille was sweet, the best we ever tasted. The duck was prepared perfectly with a beautiful balance of flavour. And for dessert we had the dark chocolate sorbet. Simply WOW!

Chef Longet needs to be congratulated for bringing such high quality and delicious food to the west coast of Florida!

Too bad you don’t have a restaurant up in Toronto! We’ll see you again in the fall/winter.

Made an Open Table reservation. Service and food were excellent! We had the sea bass and the pork shank with a nice bottle of wine. Dessert was amazing too! A touch slow as they were pretty busy. No regrets.

I have lived in France and Cafe Longet has the most authentic, actually French cuisine in Sarasota county. The atmosphere is divine and the restaurant is owned and managed by a French couple who are both wonderfully kind people. The staff is excellent, and the menu offers something for everyone. Lunchtime is the best time to go, as it's reservation seating for dinner. I insist that everyone should try Cafe Longet.
