Dockside Waterfront Grill

This has been our go to place for dinner since we moved to SW FL. Consistently good food, drinks & attentive servers. It would be nice to have a small dinner salad included with the pasta dishes (which are a little pricey) but still worth it. Happy hour prices & drink selections are reasonable. The menu has everything from sandwiches to delicious entrees. Their seafood linguine alfredo is my favorite. I have tried many authentic Italian restaurants within 50 miles of Venice & have always been disappointed with the quality. Dockside Grill doesn't disappoint.

I really like this place. They have outdoor seating, and seating by windows that look out over the marina. So the views are great. Personally I think they are some of the best chicken wings you can get anywhere in Venice. I always order them extra crispy and they come out perfect every time.

We had lunch there on Wednesday. This was a good find. The best grouper sandwich around. Nice dockside atmosphere. Clean. Great service from Emily. Would definitely stop in again!

First time here. Everything was outstanding! The tuna nachos were the absolute best that we have ever had. Husband had a grouper sandwich...the biggest and best he's ever had. I had delicious fish and chips (haddock). The service was above reproach: staff all helped one another. No dirty plates or glasses ever left on the table, our server, Michelle, took excellent care of us. We are looking forward to going back next week!

Absolutely delicious! We both had the fish 'n chips and it was perfect. I usually don't eat many fries, but these were REALLY GOOD and the fish was light and flakey. Sweet tea was just the right sweetness....not sickly sweet but also not needing more sugar. Cole slaw was good.... not fabulous, but good. Service was awesome and we made sure the tips reflected that, including the guy who sat us and checked on us with a huge friendly smile. Comfy chairs and comfortable temperature even though it is open to the outside... which was 92 degrees, so not sure how they pulled THAT off!!! Nice view of boats in the little marina. Happy we found this place and we'll be back!
