Suncoast Cafe is the definition of a hidden gem. Who’d expect such an amazing spot in a small Airport? As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the entire staff. The breakfast menu had some unique options, like actual home made corn beef hash and breakfast cubans. This was hands down one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had all year. The only gripe I had was my grits were cold, seems like they plated their sides a bit too early. Other than that, I see no reason to eat elsewhere after an amazing breakfast here.

I found this little gem a couple weeks ago on flight from the Florida Keys, and it immediately became my favorite spot! As a pilot building time I try to find locations for lunch at airports all over the State. I gotta tell ya this one is my favorite! Has a cool vibe and Chef Tony and his crew are super friendly, not to mention the chicken salad is hands down the best I’ve ever had! Great spot, great food, great people!

Unbelievable experience...my food was superb and watching others food coming out, I want to come back and try many items on the menu. Food was fresh and beautifully plated. The restaurant is very clean and staff friendly. I will be back and bring friends.

6/22/19 Hidden gem at the Venice airport. Who knew! Best Cuban sandwich I've tasted. The proprietor/chef Tony, has an extensive and impressive resume. He brought samples of his conch chowder and homemade chili (winner at the Venice chili cook off) to our table. Wow. Absolutely delicious. We will be returning soon. Many interesting dishes on the menu to try. Only regret is not finding this place sooner. Thanks Tony (and staff)!

Comfortable, intimate atmosphere. Food delicious and portions were large! Our first time visiting for breakfast and came home with leftovers for lunch. Amazed at the amount of people flying in for breakfast! We were in the minority of patrons arriving by car! Can't think of a single improvement that needs to be made.
