Tony's Chicago Beef Co. Southside (aka Frosted Mug)

Portions are huge, Prices are good, good selection if beers, staff was fast and friendly. Only negative I could say is that you can only get soda in a can and if it's a hot day you'll have to order a few. Other than that, we loved the food and the place. Hope my review helps another friend find this little gem.

I got the 2 Hot Dog Special with a Diet Coke. It came with Fries which we Hot and Fresh. Hot Dogs were Good too. Place was Clean and Waitress/Counter Person were Very Nice and Checked back with.me a couple of times. I wanted to eat outside at the counter but it was Pouring.......POURING! You order at the counter and sit where you like be it outside at the counter or the Dining Room. Good Place, Ample Parking

They have the BEST french fries! Italian beef sandwich was delicious. We sat outside at the bar and enjoyed a couple of beers with our lunch. Very friendly bartender! We'll be back.

This place is awesome! Great food and really nice staff. Amazing prices. Been here twice and we'll keep coming back!

Excellent Chicago hot beef right down to the proper bun (I like it wet and always marvel at the bun's ability to stay together). Clean, friendly, affordable. Good selection of root beers pay homage to the venue's earlier incarnation as a root beer stand. Indoor and outdoor seating, but indoor fills up quickly during inclement weather. Reasonably-priced fare and should be put on your "must visit" list when in Venice. .
