Their fries were overcooked and seemed to be done from old oil. Burgers were good and tasty. Also the meals were not very nice on the wallet. Almost $40 for three small burger meals.
It's been a while since I've eaten at Five Guys. It was my first time at this location. The cashier was friendly but I could do without the kitchen help screaming out order numbers that were ready for pick up. As for the food it was a poor value. The double cheeseburger which is called a cheeseburger to encourage customers to buy it instead of the little cheeseburger which is a standard quarter pound burger, while good was not as good as I remember it being previously and not good enough to pay $7.59 for. The milkshake was too small and didn't taste good enough to earn it's $4.49 price tag. The large worm-like Cajun fries were limp, greasy and over $5. I think Five Guys assumes dumping half the fries into the bag will impress us into thinking we are getting so so many fries but all they are doing is creating a huge mess. They need to take a bit more pride in their preparation. Use larger containers, not drink cups for fries and see to it that they are neatly delivered to the customer. At least they have the sense not to put their name on their bags. A co-worker once saw me bring Five Guys to work for lunch. She took a look at the grease stained bag and called it a heart attack in a bag. There's burger joints everywhere. Many of them about as good if not better and two of you can eat at the competitors for the price I paid for myself - $18.49.
The food was great! It's definitely not a "I'm on a diet" kind of place. The burgers are great the toppings are plenty and just enough greasiness to know you have had an American classic. We ordered online and went pick it up. The food was fresh and ready. The staff was great and the place itself was very clean. Will definitely order again.
Although not necessarily known for their hot dogs, they make a great one. It's grilled and flavorful. Add a side of Cajun Fries and it's a great meal!
The food and crew at the Altamonte springs Five Guys are great . Most burger for your buck. Snack on peanuts while you wait for your fresh food. Get it to go and enjoy in a picnic at Cranes Roost Park behind Altamonte Mall.
