Maitland Breakfast Club

Always busy but they do a good job with the wait time. So friendly and super nice. Food is always good.

I've been eating at the Maitland Breakfast Club for years and loved it from the moment we walked in to welcoming staff, great food and portions with reasonable prices. However, since new owners took over the quality has dropped along with portions. I had two meals delivered that looked like it had been sitting in grease and it was cold. That meal would never have been allowed to be served before. They've even removed some standard items. (Sad!) Hope it turns around soon or some of us old regulars will be looking for another place. I'm going to give it another month.

I was early for an appointment, so we stopped in for a bite to eat. Beth greeted us as soon as we walked in and allowed us to sit anywhere. The dining room has huge booths and plenty of tables.

We each had coffees which came out immediately and add-ins were already on the table. I didn't want anything big to eat, but the Healthy Choice section caught my eye and my husband doesn't like mushrooms, so I got my own entree. The Personal Favorite is what I chose, just as it came and he got the Healthy Class (substituting mushrooms for tomatoes).

Our food came out quick and perfect. Beth came back a few minutes later to check on us. She also came back to clear items off the table, refill our mugs and take our check to cash us out all in perfect timing. The lady at the table next to us also said that Beth read her mind, indicating that she is taking good care of everyone! She mentioned that she was fairly new and I couldn't even tell.

I would recommend this spot to anyone and if Beth is available, you are sure to have a great experience.

Cute little greasy spoon place. Have a nice selection of old favorites plus some nice omelet and crepe selections for breakfast and hamburgers, grilled chicken and salad selections for lunch. Daily specials. Only breakfast and lunch here. Very reasonable prices. Nice quick service but food is cooked to order.
