Something Fishy - Altamonte Springs

I absolutely love Something Fishy Altamonte. Their food is absolutely fantastic, and it's my go-to place when I take the time to eat out for lunch and this location in Altamonte Springs is very close to my office. Today I had the opportunity to enjoy three free fish tacos of the day in celebration of my birthday.

I have known the owners Patrice and Chef Terry for about 6 years. Not only do they provide amazing food but they are also very active in serving those in need in the community especially during the pandemic over the last two years. I highly recommend their restaurant and either of their locations in Altamonte Springs or Apopka Florida!

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and it was amazing! The fried shrimp was seasoned very well and the grits are a MUST! The staff and servers were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning soon.

A few years ago, I visited the Apopka location, but did not get good vibes from the staff when I was there. The atmosphere was not inviting to the point that I wanted to get up and leave; even though I had ordered food. I vowed that I would never eat at this establishment again.

Interestingly, this year I found out that there was another location in Altamonte, so I decided to give them a second chance. Although, both locations may be owned by the same owner, this experience was totally opposite from the one years ago.

Nicholas was Excellent!! He greeted us and he made us feel very welcomed. He was very friendly, personable and professional. He would be the reason for me coming back to eat here again. The food was pretty good too.

The restaurant was clean and excited to find a new seafood place. My wife had Halibut tacos Which came with a delicious slaw and corn salsa on them with boom boom sauce. She let me have one out of the three and it was great.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The server "AL" was great. This was a nice place for brunch. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating options. The music was awesome.
When I come back to Orlando I will visit again.
