Yummy House Orlando

Yummy House is one of the better Chinese food restaurants in the Orlando area. The food is good, service is usually great and the prices are not that bad. The dining room is clean. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. It is well lit at night.

Some places put yummy in their name or flyers, but they end up deceiving you. This gem of a spot, however, lives up to its name! It's yummy and there's no doubt about that. We have been there now several times, which is what has earned them their review. When you walk in, your are promptly greeted regardless of whether you are picking up or eating there. And the service is great, so no issues there. But I have to get talking about the food. Its delicious! They serve the food in traditional Taiwan style, which is a large portion for every dish, then you share all the entries amongst the table - excellent for when you want to enjoy several different things or just want a hefty doggy bag to take home (but you don't have to share of course, I'm just noting that is what they do in Taiwan and that's why the portions are so big). The food itself tastes home cooked, fresh and authentic, unlike some take out chinese restaraunts. And the fried rice is legit best in town. Now go get yourself some! It's so tasty...

This place was wonderful. Our new favorite Chinese place. The fried rice was perfect, not over powering. The chicken was perfectly breaded and flavored. I cannot do this place justice. We thought the prices were high until we saw the size, wow they give great portions. It was perfect.

This place definitely serves a great house rice at a great lunchtime special. I ordered the take out with an additional white rice thinking there wouldn't be much left of the house rice for later. However, the tray was full to the top leaving me plenty for another meal. The food was great and the service was friendly and quick. There will be a return visit before I leave this area.

Had the usual Friday experience with a few co-workers, and tried a new place today. Nice looking restaurant located in strip mall. Nice bright open feel, and looked clean. I tried the sweet, and sauce chicken. It was good, but I would suggest to get the sauce on the side. My co-workers got a order of shrimp fried rice, and the other got the Mongolian beef. Everything came out in a timely manner, and well prepared. The one thing that lacked was the personality of the service, it was just complete blah. But all, and all a nice place that I would try again if I'm in the area.
