Gator's Dockside

To be honest, I haven't been to Gators in a while and I wasn't expecting too much of the of the place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the fried fish with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I got generous and tasty portions of everything, our server was great, and the long islands are only $4. I had a great time with my family.

Service was slow but friendly. They seemed to be on a mission. But if one is busy the other still wont help. They will say I'll get your server. Seems inefficient. Food was good. Good soup food lemonade. Good gator. Coleslaw is sweet with raisins. Fries and graveyard are salty but tasty. Booths are in rough shape. But I'd go again.

Food and service are reliably good. We did have an issue on the last vist, but the manager went above and beyond to correct the issue, and he did it without any prompting or whining from me. He has earned my continued customer loyalty.

AYCE Wings on Monday nights... Very good place to get your fill of wings. However, 1 drawback we found last night is that they don't come with ranch or bleu cheese dressings automatically. (The initial plate) you have to ask for them, and they have 2 sizes, .59 or .99, so keep in mind that if you want a dressing to dip your wings in, that will be 1.00 extra on top of the 13.99 for just the wings. I was a little disappointed in the fact that for that much, even on your first plate, all you get is like 10 wings, and they bring out 6 at a time after that. No fries on the first plate, no dressings, no carrots or celery (as a couple other places offer) Just a plate of wings. In that sense, for the cost, and the added costs, it almost doesn't seem worth it. The wings, however, were very good. Not a whole lot of fat, moderate size, enough sauce to cover the wing, but not enough to ooze and drip everywhere. The wings didn't have much, in any grease/oils dripping from them either. All in all, a pleasant experience, however, I just wished they offered more with the initial plate of the all you can eat wings, other than simply and solely wings... Fries, veggies, and/or dressing dip without charging almost 15.00 if you add the 4 oz. Cup of dressing, as it is charged separately...

I was in Gators on Thursday night, this place has become a second home. The food is excellent and Liz has become the reason I keep coming back. I just want to take the time to express what a difference it makes when deciding where I want to spend my time money and taste buds. She's a joy and always makes sure that my experience is the best. Professional and personable every time she takes care of me, thank you for making this Gator's MY Gator's.
