Chicken Salad Chick

When I feel like treating myself I go to Chicken Salad Chick. It's a light meal when I'm out working all day. I love their different recipes of chicken salad, but they also have an impressive pasta salad with black olives and artichoke. The grape salad is scrumptious. Their signature sugar cookie is the perfect finish. Comfortable booths and tables in the dining room and their service is friendly and attentive.

What a nice relaxing place to have Linner with the family. Love the Big Band/Swing music that was playing. I had a scope of the Buffalo Barclay and Olivia's Old South, both had great flavor. I will definitely be returning! Staff was great and friendly.

LOVE their chicken salad! The place itself is really cute and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They have several different types of chicken salads to choose from and will even give you a sample if you're not sure what to try. And they have a few other things on the menu if you're not into chicken salad (the loaded potato soup is really good) and each meal comes with a small frosted sugar cookie that leaves you wanting more! (They know what they're doing, they have larger ones for purchase.) Oh, oh, and these chocolate chunk rice crispy sqares...oh lord... need to get back there soon....

I really like this place! Friendly staff and great food. You can sample the many chicken salad options and find your favorite. I love that you get a small iced sugar cookie from Cheryl's Cookies with your meal. Very well thought out restaurant concept.

I preface this by saying I have really liked the idea of this place. I love southern food and I love chicken salad and pimento cheese. I like the story of a teacher who created a recipe and made it a business. I did not however like the chicken salad. I tried 3 varieties, Fancy Nancy, classic Carol, and Lauryns lemon basil. The texture seemed food processed, not chunky. Some people like that, I don't. All varieties tasted the same to family members who blind tasted them. I couldn't find grapes or apples in one, maybe a mistake(?). The grape salad was fun, what's not to like about grapes, cream cheese and brown sugar? We all thought the salads lacked flavor, even my 8 squeezed lemon juice on everything. Great ideas need great recipes. Maybe chicken salad is just too personal for us. We all like it a certain way. It's hard to please everyone with something so classic. You may love it, we didn't. It was very clean and pleasant.
