    My stomach is genuinely happy! My son killed those plantations ????????....you guys are awesome! I absolutely loved it!

    (I ordered oxtails, butter beans and rice, plantations on one plate, cabbage on the other)

    Great food! Nice folks authentic Jamaican cuisine. I'm Jamaican and also a caterer and whenever I'm in the mood for J'can food and don't want to cook I stop in at Tropix and grab something. The owners are nicest people. If you're in Lake Mary/Sanford and surrounding areas make sure you stop by for some good home cooking. I'm so glad I discovered this place.

    Very happy to have a great island restaurant close by. Just found out about this place on Sunday. So glad I did, beef patty was delicious and rice peas were good too. Got to get back in there to try the goat. This is a great find!

    Okay first time here, and I have to say 5 stars. Excellent food, clean restaurant and friendly owners. Excellent customer service. Oxtails are good. Can’t wait to try the rest of the food items. Wishing them success on their new business

    5 RATING ON THE FOOD....Ordered the oxtail dinner and the Coco rice dinner. Both were exceptional in flavor and quality. The best Jamaican food I've had in a long time. Takes awhile to get your food, but well worth the wait. The Coco rice could have had a few more shrimp, but a very very nice meal. Definitely will return.
